"My coaching style is
facilitative. This means my client drives the session's focus while I ask powerful questions that allow them to be reflective and empowered to drive toward achieving their goals.

About

Coaching Credentials or Certifications

Education and Training

I have a Master of Arts in Teacher, K-8 and a graduate certificate in Supervision and School Administration I/II from Johns Hopkins University. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Biology from William Patterson University. In addition, I hold an Advanced Professional Certificate from the State of Maryland. Finally, I earned a certification in Women's Leadership from Cornell University.

I’m especially passionate about working with folks who are…

I enjoy coaching open-minded individuals who are eager to learn and develop in a calm and supportive environment. These individuals are seeking a coach to guide them in reaching their goals and are willing to be flexible in their approach. They often need immediate support when facing challenges and want to be able to express their unrefined reactions without the fear of being judged as a 'bad or uncommitted educator'.

If I could share one thing with prospective clients, it would be…

It is important to balance work and home life. Be intentional about making time to do the things you love with the people who love you.

Interests & Hobbies
I travel frequently and I have visited 36 states. The White Mountains in New Hampshire is one of my favorite travel locations where I hike and take amateur photos using the SLR camera I still haven’t learned how to use:). I recently concluded teaching a Christian Women’s Discipleship Class, and I look forward to teaching a new group of women in the coming months. I am the author of the journal, "An Educator's Daily Conversation with God: 10-minute journaling for the Christian Educator" which can be found on Amazon. When at home, you can find me watching HGTV or youtube videos on home decor.
