Education and Training

I have a B.A. in Sociology from University of Colorado-Boulder and a M.S. in Counseling; Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy from the University of Phoenix - Costa Mesa. I have a Master's endorsement in School Counseling from the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs and a Master's endorsement in Educational Leadership from Regis University. I'm licensed as a school counselor and an administrator in Colorado.

I’m especially passionate about working with folks who are…

struggling to process their thoughts and how to best apply their new learning. These are the amazing people who enjoy doing a bit of homework to help bring out their best! I specialize in working with families and people who are experiencing hardship. A supportive person who doesn't judge can be life-changing! I aim to engage with all people I meet in a way and process that best meets their needs. I started my adventures in education as a direct service provider to K-8 classrooms in New Orleans, LA. Working with teachers and students through character education programming taught me the value of relationships, how amazing different cultures are, and how much I wanted to be in a school. I’ve worked as an in-home therapist in East Los Angeles and Long Beach, CA and a school counselor in a downtown urban high school. I understand how healthy educators impact students and their school environment. I soulfully enjoy meeting new people and walking with others on their journeys. I look forward to meeting you and taking a journey with you to better wellness!

If I could share one thing with prospective clients, it would be…

I believe you have everything in you to become your best you! I honor the bravery it takes to reach out for support and I take pride in providing a compassionate landing for you.
